I was working on, well. Something I was putting a lot of effort into. More than anything I've ever worked on. Every detail. I've spent hours on it, and it wasn't even halfway done.

Then the next time I turned my computer on and tried to open it up like I normally do in PS, it just gives me a file with a black, locked background layer. I've done some researching and I figure the file just got corrupted somehow.

Too upset to cry over it, and thinking about restarting from the little bit that I do have saved just makes me angry. OTL
Any bit of miracle advice would be so appreciated, but I bet it's gone at this point.
